Good straight carpenter jeans for boys?

My girlfriend wanted new jeans for Christmas. I like the light wash, style carpenter. His favorite was American Eagle, but do not just regular jeans carpenter jean more. There was also a pair of straight leg, but he's used to wearing carpenter, I'm not sure what type of leg straight for him.
