Men's jeans may all look the same to some of us, but there are intricate differences that could turn you from a fashion disaster into the king of the high street. If you don't want to look like you've had the same jeans on since the 1980s, you need to get down the shops, go online or do whatever you can to get your hands on, and legs in, the most fashionable jeans in the world.
There are a few rules that you need to stick to if you want to be a jean-wearing success. For starters, don't think that every cool new pair of jeans on the catwalk will suit you. If you always wear bootcut, you don't have to change just because Vogue says they are last season. The same goes for colours, if bleached is in but it makes your bum look big - stick to black.

501s are back!
The old classics are here again. After making a big comeback this summer, the 501s are still looking good and probably always will be. If you don't already have a pair, and there are a few of us left, it's time to take the plunge and get one, two or three. They won't age and you know for a fact that they'll still be in fashion in fifty years time - as long as you can still fit in them!
Skinny jeans are still on trend
They've been here for a good few years now but skinny jeans are still fitting the bill. They can make you look and feel like a rock star, and even when they're dirty and faded - they look even better. Team them with a pair of scruffy plimsolls or some workboots and you've got the perfect look for a day and night on the town.
Wear the American Dream
All American workwear can look good whether you're on a building site, on the street or even dressing it up with a checked shirt. They don't have to be covered in dust to be authentic - every time you wear them they'll look a little bit better. And because they're made for tough tests, they won't rip or tear easily either.
