Don't Jump Into the Denim Bandwagon

For shorter than average women, jeans with leg length that hangs just above the ground is recommended, as this would make them look taller. If you want to wear jeans with a relatively high leg length, stylists recommend pairing them with heeled sandals, wedges or espadrilles to create an illusion of height.

Secondly, color is essential in choosing a denim style. Darker colors create a slimming effect. Thus, those who tend to be heavy on the thighs are advised to wear women's designer jeans with darker in shade. Examples of these are gray, black and indigo-colored jeans. Washed-off jeans can also make a person's legs look thinner.

The most important thing to consider in buying a pair of women's designer jeans is the denim shape. The basic denim patterns are skinny, flared and wide-legged, straight-cut, and boot cut. Skinny jeans are recommended for petite girls as well as those with thin legs. Their tight fit will stress the contours of the physique. Women with wide hips are advised to wear either boot cut or flared and wide legged jeans as these veer away the attention from the hips and thighs.
